"As a general rule, Costco Wholesale does very little advertising, however,  over the past year we have teamed up with Big Country 93.1 to promote some of our new business services.  Big Country did a live remote broadcasts to promote the opening of our new Gas Station and new location of our Garden Center.  In addition we participated in a Spring Garden Promotion.  I am happy to report that the day Big Country broadcast live from our Gas Station is one of our TOP 3 HIGHEST SALES DAYS, and the garden promotion and remote helped us achieve our HIGHEST SALES IN THE 5 YEARS OF IT'S EXISTANCE, in spite of less exposure due to the new location. We also participated in Big country's unreserved auction which was an exciting way to promote Costco and we will again.  I have found Big Country's sales people, writers and on air personalities to be very professional, accommodating and creative which helps us achiave a strong benefit from the investment we have made in our advertising.
